Log on with your local Volunteer Marine Rescue group and advise them of your trip details, boat description, registration number, where the trailer is parked/ramp you launched from, number of persons on board, contact mobile phone number and estimated time of return
Also if you have a Marine Radio, the channel you are monitoring?
If you have a Trip Card, fill in your details on the card and leave it at home on the fridge or with your neighbour
