This course is competency-based training and assessment.
Modules 1 to 6 are theory and will be completed online and should take you approximately 4 to 5 hours.
You will be required to complete the online theory component prior to booking in a time with your trainer for your face to face training and assessment session. At this session, you will be given a validation assessment (revision) then be required to successfully complete a written theory test on what you have learnt online as well. You will take part in on-water practical training by explanation, demonstration and practice then assessed by your trainer on operation the training boat supplied to you. This training and assessment session should take approximately 3 to 4 hours depending on class size.
