Head-On situation (Collision Course)

• Each vessel alters course to starboard, turns right
• This rule applies in narrow channels as well as in open water where there is doubt of the others intentions
• Your alteration of course should be made in ample time and is large enough to be readily apparent to the other vessel (make it BIG and make it EARLY)
