When anchoring overnight, consider alternate anchorages should the weather deteriorate or wind change. Also, allow for tidal changes throughout the night.
Anchor line ratios in tidal waters:
5:1 In calm conditions or no watch keeper or when anchoring overnight, 8:1 ratio in rough conditions,
3:1 In calm conditions with a watchkeeper or during the daytime.
