Registration & Licence Regulations

Registered Boats to display Registration symbols/numbers:

• All registered boats are required by law to display Registration symbols/numbers.
• On a speed boat (planing hull) – the registration symbols/numbers must be a minimum of 150mm high, in
  contrasting colour to the hull and displayed on both sides of the boat facing outwards above the water
  line.
• Displacement boats (slow boats) must display a single symbol/number on the stern (rear) of the hull facing
  outwards. The number must also be in a contrasting colour to the hull and be 75mm high displayed
  above the water line.
