Ensure the ship is operated in a safe manner by:
Having a sober knowledgeable licensed person in charge of the vessel under 0.05% B.A.C. level for the master/operator at all times
No Overloading:
- Load the vessel with heavy items stowed low & secure
- Position passengers in a location to maintain the correct vessel trim
- Check no water in the bilge prior to launching
